Broadway

This home for a successful Broadway producer and his family is nestled in a quiet, heavily treed neighborhood in Oklahoma City – the producer’s hometown. The overall design was by internationally renowned architect Hugh Newell Jacobson. Freese Architecture was engaged to provide additional architectural design and detailing and to oversee construction. Though the street front is a windowless edifice for maximum privacy, the back of the home is virtually transparent with glass walls that engage the home with a private forest of bamboo. A large central atrium and linear reflecting pool becomes the core of the home onto which all surrounding rooms open.
