Oklahoma Magazine – Best of the Best
We always enjoy getting double duty in a publication
In the July 2021 issue of Oklahoma Magazine, we were named one of the state’s Best of the Best Residential Architects, which is now 14 years running! Also, in the feature article titled “A Study in Luxury”, OK Mag featured a home we designed called Lakeview, perched on a bluff overlooking Skiatook Lake.
The design of Lakeview is both referential to our familiar Midwest structures – farmhouses, barns, outbuildings – yet modern to reflect this era. The home is composed of a series of “homesteads” linked with small flat-roofed connectors. The resulting arrangement affords multiple panoramic views of the lake and heavily treed surroundings.
The relaxed and expansive layout easily accommodates the large, blended family, creating a legacy home both modern and enduring.
